Bragging Writes...

She's done it! Abby was just accepted to SNHU. And received an academic scholarship that brings the total cost nearly level with the cost of in-state tuition at UNH. So proud of her!

She'll start as a business major this fall, transferring the credits from her Associate's Degree that she'll earn this spring. To top it all off: she'll be graduating from community college at the time when most of her classmates will be accepting their high school diplomas.

A mom can brag, no? Especially as the author of my own blog.... :)

That is awesome. Congrats to her! I love hearing stories like this. And finishing her associates degree before her classmates graduate high school!? THAT'S SWEET!

Congratulations! SNHU is a great school. I had my one semester there and they have a really good radio station program. =)

Of course you can brag! You're a proud Mom! I am just an Auntie, and I brag about my boys all the time.

That is great! She obviously has worked incredibly hard to be where she is. She should be a role model to her fellow highschool peers.

Congratulations! I almost went to SNHU to play baseball there, but it was still way to expensive for me even with the grants they offered. They have a great Business program there as well. I know a few of my friends who have received their bachelors degree in business in a three year program.

Congrats! When I got accepted into Chester College at almost no cost, my mom took me out for some drinks...we cried and got drunk together. She was so proud. I can't image how parents feel when their kids make that huge leap out of adolescence.

Wow, that's awesome! I'm impressed that she got her associates before her classmates graduated high school...I wish I thought of that because high school was pretty boring! Good luck to her!

This is awesome! So few kids know what they want to do at such a young age (I was certainly one of them) so it's so amazing that she's accomplished so much. It definitely shows you're doing something right in the parenting department :)
